MEET YOUR GUIDE

Barbara Sánchez is a medicine woman, facilitator, and retreat leader who guides people into their heart and spirit through working with cacao, tobacco, and sound. Through her trauma-informed training, Barbara creates safe spaces where individuals can reconnect with their wholeness and self-worth.

Raised between New York and Ecuador, Barbara serves as a cultural bridge and currently resides in Cuenca, Ecuador. Her mission is to empower individuals to embrace their identity, embody self-worth, live in integrity, and break generational cycles that hold them back.

Her journey into personal development began at 17, and over the past 12 years, she has cultivated a deep understanding of healing, drawing wisdom from both ancient traditions and modern methodologies. With indigenous roots in the Sierra of Ecuador’s Andean highlands, Barbara connects with Mother Nature, plants, and animals through ceremony, ritual, and song. She has undergone extensive training and Master Plant dietas with Indigenous elders of the Sapara Nation in the Ecuadorian Amazon Rainforest, where she was initiated into working with tobacco as a healing medicine under the guidance of Manari Ushigua, the spiritual leader of the Sapara Nation.

Beyond her healing work, for the last three years Barbara has managed the back-end of two 6-figure spiritual online businesses. She specializes in launching signature courses, executing global retreats and events, and building sustainable, high-impact businesses. Barbara supports budding entrepreneurs’s to set up systems and lay the foundation for their business.

    • 2x monthly 75-minute 1:1 sessions via Zoom

  • Yes. You don’t need to have a “spiritual” practice or any experience with cacao, tobacco, or ceremony. I’ll meet you where you are — all of you is welcome here. This work is about truth, embodiment, and coming home to yourself.
